Savannah Boat Show Returns
As the boat show season marches on, the next stop in the Carolinas an Georgia is the Savannah Boat Show. Having started many years ago as a small boat show in the humble surroundings of the Savannah National Guard, the show has become one of the largest marine events on the Atlantic Coast. This year’s Savannah Boat Show should prove to be no different. Located at the Savannah Convention Center on Hutchinson Island, just across the river from downtown Savannah. The show will get underway on Friday, March 1st and run thru Sunday, March 3rd. Buying tickets has been easy with their e-Ticket option.
Featuring a mix of boat lines that include great names like Boston Whaler, Key West Sea Ray, Grady White and much more. The Savannah Boat Show is known for being a fantastic combination of great boat lines from regional dealers as well as vendors featuring all aspects of boating and equipment fishing gear in addition to nautical artwork and clothing. The show fills the massive Savannah Convention Center and expands out onto areas surround the facility. The show includes fishing seminars for anglers of all skill level and even kids. The seminars include 2015 Southern Kingfish Association National Champion, Captain Eris Jones. Over the years the Savannah Boat has become a great family weekend destination that includes boats and fishing products for boaters of all levels. Event activities include the kids meeting face to face, Captain Jack Sparrow and his merry band of Wenches. You can also enjoy the southern music and charm of Bucky and Barry, considered a Savannah institution. It also makes for a great day trip for the family with its close proximity to area Savannah restaurants and shopping that is just a short ferry ride away.
