Wilmington Boat Show…..A Growing Tradition
It’s again time for the largest boat show in North Carolina to take center stage. The Wilmington Boat Show will do that downtown starting October 1st and running through October 3rd. The event will again take place at the Wilmington Convention Center on the riverfront.
Boat dealers from all over the Carolinas will be on hand to display the latest and greatest in boats, gear, and boating accessories. This year’s show is especially important due to the explosion of boat sales over the past two years. It will allow the boating public to see face to face the coming boat designs. Dealers are pulling out all the stops to obtain as much inventory as possible for next week’s event. In many cases, the Wilmington Boat Show will serve as the unveiling of new boat models that have not been available for buyer’s viewing due to inventory shortages. With boat production in recent months beginning to catch up to the orders, this year’s show comes at a perfect time.
In addition to a great line of boats, the Wilmington Boat Show will host events such as inshore and offshore fishing seminars with local angler and writer, Captain Jerry Dilsaver. Craig Sutton will conduct seminars on shallow water Kingfishing tricks and tactics, and Captain Adam Wagner will be on hand for the MarineMax Wrightsville Beach’s “Women on the Water” seminars. Also, Emmett Stovall from Marine Warehouse will share his expertise on preventive measures and tips to prolong your outboard motors.
Come and enjoy this Cape Fear area boating tradition. It’s boats, boating accessories, food, and entertainment all in one place.
